On our site we have installed exterior area's for our cats. In an area of approx. 400 m2 area we have developed various area's where our felines can enjoy the Mediterranean climate in a controled way. The various departments where the males and females live separate avoid unwanted babies and improve the control for spreading any disease. All area's have their own shelter-home's, eating area, running water, light and what's more. Anything to make life happy for them. The garden knows gravelled area's, lawn, toys and cat-furniture and large palm trees and other trees provide sufficient protection from sun-light.
Within our family house we have great part of the cats living with us. Especially pregnant cats, once we check their state come into the house. When it gets close to the moment of birth, they are checked in the area where they are tranquil and surrounded with the necessary furniture and equipment to complete birth with maximum attention.
Once the kittens are born, we check their developing on a daily base and they stay in the controlled area until they reach the age for the first vaccine. That's the moment when they start form part of family life as a part of the socialization process. Particularly in that age the cats develop and establish the way they will deal with all that surrounds them for the rest of their lives. Basically until four months of age that is the fase of learning how to. A mayority of kittens will travel to their new homes on the age of three months, yet their new families are anxious to receive them, The few others that stay complete their 'schooling' with us in the family house.
To attend to our life stock we are in permanent contact with our Vet's;; Clinica Santa Pola. We have had the luck to meet this enthusiast goup of professionals that have achieved some great results with our Cattery. They have always considered the very best for our felines, without avoiding any effort or information to our side, they achieve that untill today we are enjoying a great condition and heath for all our cats.
Anualy we renew vaccines for our troops against most of the important feline diseases know in Spain. We also test aleatory our cats for some important diseases as HFV, PIF and other. All thought to eliminate the risk of catching up something we could control working well..
All the documentation we expedite for our kittens is supervised by the Sanitary Authoroties. All kittens travel with their European Passport, are Chipped and carry all treatments sealed by the Vet in the passport, as well as their Certificate for Good Health.

We start our breeding experience about six years ago, when we bought from the well know breeder Paco from Artemisa two fine individuals; Kaos and Mina. They are the guilty one's for us having an average of 25 cats around the house.
Well from the strat we were excited about their natural beauty and character. And, as so many other cat fanciers we got more and more involved in this 'cat' world. Untill today we get surprised by seeing our kittens grow up with their new families.
From the very start our criteria for breeding Norwegian Forrest Cats was to select well structured, strong and vivid individuals of important size. As their natural Look was the first aspect that struck us, we went for the tabby tigered, all from well established lines and all from price winning parents. The very best. To complete our line we selected the immaculate snow white. To us, the 'polar' note, appeared to be obvious.
With these factors in mind, we selected 10 individuals, we thought the best money could buy. After our first Lustrum the results prove we are on the right way. Every generation holds the compromise we are looking for. And more and more kittens find their way to belong part of important breeders and be a warrant for a solid developing of the breed.

With a population of a substantial number of cats it became important to establish Measures of Attention. In conjunction with our Vets in Santa Pola we've developed sanitairy systems that have avoided large infestations or the appearrance of dangerous diseases in our Cattery. The study that concluded in an extense rapport resulted more then beneficial. And away from common sense; a good hygiene and excellent food we have adapted measures that work
All these physical treatments we have to add to the 'Wellness' of the Cats. Their happiness and relaxed state of mind make them even more resistant, strong and stable to avoid and overcome any possible disease. There's no detail more important then another, we'll have to care about details in all. It's as well to you or me. No sense in regretting after.
